I am a professional, award-winning illustrator and published children's picture book artist. How long have you been in business?

What is your primary product or service?
I am a professional illustrator. I have illustrated 3 children's picture books so far as well as numerous publications for healthcare, children's literacy and real estate. I sell art directly to the public through my two online art (Etsy.com) shops:

How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
I have always been fascinated with art, illustration in particular. After graduating with honors from the Philadelphia College of Art (now called University of the Arts), I began my professional career.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
My specialty is children's illustration. I work in both traditional media (pen, pencil, watercolor...) as well as digital media (Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator...) to create my illustrations. These days, I combine both media, which allows me to blend the best of both worlds and expands my creative palette.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
I work in my home based studio, but have worked with art directors, editors, publishers, and clients via the Internet from across the country. Some of my customers are from as far away as Malaysia, Norway and Australia.
What type of payments do you accept?
I accept checks, but prefer direct payment via PayPal.
Which areas do you service?
The United States.
Who owns your company or runs daily operations?
I am the owner, creator, marketer and distributor.
What are your hours of operation?
Weekdays 7 am - 6 pm. Depending on a project's deadline, I work on weekends as well.
